Hi, I’m Courtney. I’m the writer that works behind the scenes at Murder She Writes. I am currently working towards a degree in English and Creative Writing at university, as I have always been a passionate writer, ever since I was little. Most of my free time is spent writing, and I wanted to create something that others could enjoy. I have struggled to find my genre during my creative writing journey, but after reading C.J. Tudor’s ‘The Chalk Man’, I felt inspired to write a murder mystery. 

Suddenly I had so many ideas and couldn’t focus on just one to write. So instead, I decided to write them all as short stories and this is where the idea of Murder She Writes came from. As I am writing this, I am currently working on the first murder mystery case file ‘The alleged suicide of Laura Michaels’. This will be the first case of many to come and I truly hope that you enjoy solving the mystery as much as I enjoyed creating it.
